Good adventure. Really starting to bring along the relationship aspects

PLOT
A plan to sell control of the US government to the highest bidder is
discovered. CURE is also discovered when a phone security man finds a
scrambler phone to Folcroft. Remo is sent to discover who is behind the
plot and find out who knows what about CURE.
THOUGHTS
Great book in my opinion. Story moves along at a good pace. Remo and Chiun
really work together well.
DESTROYER #7 UNION BUST

Chiun tells a story of his childhood, how he made speeches in the fields
of the need to drive the oppressors away until his father explained that
they worked for the oppressors.
Remo mentions that in Sinanju breathing exercises you scream when you
exhale.
Remo uses the Scarlett Ribbon technique to fight an attack of 3 on 3 on 3. It is used to get the enemy to destroy themselves.
Chiun tells Remo that he is 5 years away from being better than the
greatest of Chiun's ancestors.
Songs are what Chiun calls beautiful speeches. He judges them by thoughts and words not by their reality.
Chiun wants to be a writer.
Another guy gets a dark stain on his pants as he faces terror.

PLOT
A transportation superunion is being planned. Smith is worried that it
could cripple the nation. Remo is sent to find out about it and stop the
ones responsible. He meets Nuihc, the man behind the superunion. Remo
is almost killed by Nuihc and would have been if not for Chiun. Nuihc
leaves but says he has 10 years in which to kill Remo, before Remo will
be his equal. Chiun tells Remo that he will be better in 5.
THOUGHTS
Another very good book. We get to hear more about the village of Sinanju and some of its history and traditions. Remo and Chiun have become very close. The father-son relationship is a major point in this book.

SUMMIT CHASE

Asiphur- Vice President of Scambia who was helping in the plot to kill
the president and take over the country.
Bernard Devlin- Mafia attorney serving time in prison. He tells Remo of
the plot.

ODD FACTS
Remo uses several names in this book. When he goes to a prison, he uses
the name Father Tuck. Later, he is Roger Willis before he kills and
becomes P.J. Kenny. He is also known as Remo Williams in the book. Even
the bad guys know him by this name.
A story is remembered of Remo entering a chess tournament. He played
against Fisher under the name of Paul Murphy. He lost to Fisher but
only because he spotted Fisher some men.
Remo says he has not smoked in a year.
Chiun says he has been Master for 50 years.
Remo loses his memory after he is hit in the head by a ricochet.
Remo's hair is described as short and wavy. He is said to be
around 6ft tall. His lips are so thin that they are barely lips at all.
While his memory is gone, Remo uses sexual positions called Yokohama Yoyo
and Capistrano Swallow.
Remo prefers brown rice to white.
Nemeroff learns both Chiun's and Remo's names from a New York contact.
Vicious dogs become docile in the presence of the Master of Sinanju. Chiun says they sense the Hour of the Cat.

Remo has been with CURE for 10 years.
Remo wears shaving lotion that is a French blend.
Remo has colorless nail polish on his toe nails.

Remo is worried about Chiun's age and arteries in the beginning of the book but realizes at the end that Chiun is fine.
Remo tells a guy he works for Zingo Rollerskate and Surfboard Company.
Remo does not understand why men go for stewardesses.

Remo says he was a rookie cop when CURE got him which goes against other books that say he was a cop then in the army and then a cop again.

There is a British agent in the book who seems to be based on James Bond and has quite a dose of VD.
Smitty is near pension age and thinks of his children but other books only mention one child.

The bad guys know Remo and Chiun's names.
Chiun rides in a helicopter for the first time and wonder how it stays up without wings.
Chiun shoots down a helicopter with a 45 by zoning in with smaller and smaller circles.
Remo asks if anyone has seen Mack Bolan.
WISDOM

PLOT
Plans are being set up to kill the president of Scambia so that the
vice-president can take over and set Scambia up as a haven for criminals.
Remo is sent to stop the plot and get rid of those behind it. He is
hindered by amnesia that makes him think he is part of the plot.
MY THOUGHTS
Standard plot device used in this book. Give the hero amnesia and lets see how he gets along. Well, Remo gets along very well. Even without his memory, his body remembers Sinanju. He still eats the proper food and has all his skills. Chiun shows great concern for Remo and goes in search of him. The villain is no great villain, but because of the amnesia, Remo is not able to dispose of him as easily as he should.

Remo uses a yawara stick to cause pain, a wooden stick shaped like a dog bone.

A nation wide organization of policemen is being formed to take care
of the badguys vigilante style. Remo has to find out who is behind it.
Problem is, Remo is a former cop and he kind of agrees with what they
are doing.
THOUGHTS
I really enjoyed this one. The humor made a big showing here. We really
get into Remo's head and former life in this adventure.
